The Nigerian Army on Thursday said another Chibok schoolgirl has been rescued from the hands of Boko Haram insurgents.
Army spokesperson, Col. Sani Usman, confirmed this in a terse statement, promising to provide details later.
The rescue of the Chibok schoolgirl is coming two days after one of them, Amina Ali, was discovered in Sambisa forest.
With the fresh rescue, there are now 217 schoolgirls missing.
The initial figure was 219.
Ali was on Friday received in Abuja at the Presidential Villa by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.
