Who else is relieved to see 202 go? It wasn’t all bad; I learned a lot that helped our company grow significantly, Interior Designers in Lahore, and we completed some incredible remodeling projects. But, in the end, 2022 was a year I was relieved to leave behind.
2023 is a brand new year, and design trends are already shifting. If you’re looking for some home decor ideas for the rest of the year, keep reading, Interior Designers in Lahore:
4 INTERNATIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS TO WATCH IN 2023
1. Color
The year 2022 was…bleak. There wasn’t much to celebrate because there had been far too much loss and disaster. In 2023, homeowners want to feel something bright, cheery, and joyful in their homes. They’re using color to accomplish this. Consider prominent, bright colours like pinks and oranges, as well as abstract shapes and wallpapers. We’re seeing more clients requesting patterned wallpaper and bright colours, which I love!! There’s nothing wrong with an all-white room, but does color make everything more fun?
2. Long-term viability
Here at Zenith, we value transparency as one of our core values. So we love the trend of eco-friendly design! We can’t blame consumers for wanting to know where the products in their homes come from and what they’re made of. Many of our clients request locally-made cabinets or handcrafted lighting fixtures. Many people are concerned not only with environmental best practices but also labor. It’s lovely to support a local or small business because you know exactly where your money is going.
3. Stylish Granny
Granny-chic is on its way out, and mid-mod is on its way in. The Mad-Men style that has dominated interior design trends in recent years is giving way to the cozy, delicate feel of your grandmother’s house. It makes sense — people prefer to be at ease when they spend time at home! This style combines vintage furniture with modern accessories to create an eclectic and comfortable living space. This also means more florals and wallpapers, which are in line with the big and bold designs.
4. Home Office 2023 demonstrated the significance of having a dedicated home office space
Not just any home office space, but one comfortable enough to work in for 8 hours daily. For many people, this means having a separate room in their home or a designated area in another room they can call their own. Something more than a seat at the dinner table, please! When designing an office, we frequently hear from homeowners who want their own space. They want it to reflect their personality as well as their work. This could mean bright colors or wallpapers that make for exciting Zoom backgrounds, family photos to look at after a long day at work, or plenty of file storage space Interior Designers in Lahore.
We see a lot of bold trends for 2023, and I can’t wait to see more designs that incorporate these trends. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for sneak peeks at the techniques we’ll be creating this year, Best Architects in Lahore!
